I see what you are asking here john and looking at your original post I think you have it covered. There is nothing specific to an enfield that I would particularly recommend. Personally embarking on any trip I wouldn't even bother with spare levers as I travel light. I would never go away with anything a bit worn like tyres, chain, brake shoes etc. after I limped back from the Alps with a knackered chain years ago - lesson learnt. I would add that decent tyre levers are a must and the enfield toolkit ones are not great - see our hosts for that one. I also take a handful of those throw-away gloves - people say take the ones from garage forecourts but they are hopeless. Let us know how you get on.

a few years ago in the middle of France i had a little fall a frend in frount of me came off bringing me and the wife off.
we there OK but my frend broke his clutch lever and it was hard to find one out there.
a costumer of mine was in Spain last year his bike fell over and he broke this cluth lever (BMW GS) a dealer sold him one of a showroom bike but at a silly price of £75.

so i now carry levers!!!!!

Not so daft John, The levers suffer in the lightest of prangs. In the old days we just straightened them out again but it's not so easy with alloy.

Dropped/Slid bike bikes a few times mostly all moved on bars without breakages, heard stories of the new stuff snapping so carry a small pipe & jublee clip to cover the broken bit, hope it dont happen
