Hi. Following on from Grusome's question, I'd like to know if I can fit the longer shocks from the later Enfields to my 1996 Classic 500. My Armstrong shocks are 300mm long. The later shocks with the separate chamber ~315mm. Will the longer ones fit my bike and if not, where would they not fit (i.e. can I ameliorate the lack-of-fit)?
I need to replace my shocks because at least one damper has failed and I have a pair of the other shocks available.

Hi Chris, Electra shocks will fit and they are longer.
