Sorry TRIBONNIE but I'm going to vigorously oppose your advice in this instance......If this bike were out of it's Warranty period then the normal "Rules" of home maintenance would apply and I'd be the first to agree with you.....BUT, not only is this a new bike to the owner but it's a new DESIGN to the market as well..In such a case the only REAL way that any messages about weakness and failings can get back to the Manufacturer, and in a way that makes them take notice, is via their WALLET !!...You REALLY MUST use what little Warranty cover you may have to the MAX.....If no one tells them about their product failings then don't be surprised if they say }--- "We were not aware of this "..It's up to ALL of their customers to keep giving feed-back to the factory and using the Warranty is probably the most effective way of getting that done..........When the Warranty has expired you can fiddle, tinker, adjust etc to your hearts content ( The factory won't want to know you then----eh, NORM ??)---------------------- There now, rant over---red.mist gone !!
