insured it yesterday so i had to give it a run,
i went down into Cornwall about 30mls just to get the hang of the foot brake and gear change as opposite to what i am used too!!
well got home and found that i had been riding with the choke fully on!!!
silly me so it should pull a little better if not choked.
iam off to the Dorset winter rally next weekend then the dragon in three weeks so hopeful i will be up to par with the bike.

Nice to hear that you managed to ride it, and at least the roads are quieter in Devon

My first time with a 4 speed right side gear change bullet nearly had me taking it back, but perseverance paid off, and I won't be separated from my bullets now!

Let us know how you get on next weekend, and if you bullet pulls any admirers!

It's not actually a choke as such on the Mikarbs, just an enrichment jet. I switch regularly from left hand change to right change (and one up to one down as well) It becomes second nature after a bit.

last weekend i used the Bullet for its first rally!! this was the winter rally in Dorset.
Friday the weather was bad but being a silly old sod off i went about 120mls from here .
the bike had no problems with the extreme weather conditions.
the rally was a small a fair with around 30 of us .
Saturday turned out a good day, i didnt go on the ride out as a frend was coming down around mid day.
had a lot of the world too put right so that was the evening taken care of .
i woke early 6am and it was blowing but dry so i packed up ready for the ride home ,
we left at around 7am and the rain had started !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was a little damp by the time i got home at 9,30am not bad as i was traveling at 50-55mph (120mls)

cant wait for the Dragon in two weeks
