Hi Midge,*You have all right, but it is enough to control before the trip once. Then it is well-known that the oil flows…*that is enough already.**I took oil spindle and Worm from Hitchcocks.*The quality is very good!*After 16.000 km still no wear.>>>>> I try to send a picture, I hope it go.*I made the picture 2 weeks ago, after 16.000 km:>>

As daniel did not come back with the oil pressure warning light info here is the way to do it.

remove the centre stud from the oil filter housing, drill a small hole lengthways in the end which points to the back of the bike the smaller the better as you don't want to weaken the stud then drill another one crossways to meet the first hole this hole should exit inside the filter, make an elongated nut threaded at one end to replace the stud retaining nut and threaded at the other end to take the pressure switch or pressure gauge fitting, reassemble and job done.

Please note that if using a roller big end you probably wont have sufficient oil pressure for this to work.

Hi Phil,*
the warning light does not use much.*
If the oil is cold, the pressure can rise to 116-131 psi.*
If the oil is very warm, the pressure goes approx. on 1 psi…. .the oil flows however still!**
You can only over a control window determine whether the pumps to function.
