I notice from your photo It appers to be the brackets that are breaking not the indicator stem. I had exactly the same problem with those thin brackets on my work bullet. At the front I drilled the headlight casket and mounted them on there which also gives much better visibility as well. On back ones I made me own L shape brackets that mount on the bolt at the top of the shock/frame mounts.

P/s for L read double LL or crank shaped bracket I will post a picture of S/Steel brackets I made for rear when I've time I'm at work at present.

Last week I went to set up a crank and the wheels had been machined so far out of round they wouldn't go close to fitting in my crank jig. How the hell they can turn them out of round in the first place just shows the amazing skill level of the Indians

The Home Market indicators on my Lightning are not showing any signs of stress. Mind you, the bulb holders rattle a bit. They still work though.

I have tried reinforcing them with a strip of aluminium and three screws which seem to be holding up; then one breaks where the stalk screws into the metal lamp holder----SOB!

Leon get hold of some black mild steel strip and bend&drill your owm brackets (paint), they wont break

I've been aware of your continued problems for a year or two Leon. Never did & still don't understand how or why it happens. .... Anything to do with the Brisbane climate ?
