sat here in pain , 2 cracked ribs and a broken wrist! but with a smile on my face!!

went for my morning newspaper this morning on my old "trusty" "skippy" ,, (the bike I found in a skip) its an old Suzuki ts185.

usual route , but the weather was bad , tree trunks were slimy

Alan sorry to hear that mate, going to be a bit sore for a while... Broke my right arm falling off the Norton some years ago, surprising the things you have to learn todo with one hand..
Glad your still cheerful, wish you a quick and full recovery, as do all of us i'm sure... gwilly

Hi matey !!---------- fell of a borrowed PUCH MAXI ( yes, you read that correctly--- fell off a PUCH MAXI 50cc)---did a spectacular HIGH SIDER and broke my left collar bone just 1" away from the shoulder ball joint...This was on spilt diesel whilst rushing to attend the Tadley & District AGM as Treasurer back in the late 1970's...Got a severe Dressing-down by a Hattie Jacques looking Hospital Matron about the inherent Evils of}--- You motorbikers !!.... God, did she go on??..I was glad to get out into the fresh air...So I arrive home with my left arm in a full sling, sit down in my chair.......................................................................and the dog jumps on my lap !!!!---"Oh goody" I said ????............Get well soon old son !!!

Ouch! October is probably one of. The most dangerous months given leaves rain wind feeble light rain more leaves and drivers hal blind due to in car condensation. I get the bus until march!
