Bertie is a 2004 admittedly but a old bike mechanic friend advised putting a piece of lead in the tank, he had bought a packet of lead balls to treat his Beazer and had a spare, about the size of half a golf ball I suppose , put it in the tank about 3 years ago, as far as I know it's still in there...... just enjoy the ride..
