'The Motor Cycle' had a similiar
pix on the inside cover about 10
years ago of a 1946 auction of WD
machines. Copy suggested the bikes
had sat out in the rain for a few
months prior, and punters bought
them as is, and not cheap either
as dealers pushed the price up to
79 guineas and more apiece.Check
the back row vehicles finally back
from Dunkirk. And you thought

Hi guys------------ NORM, where do you think I get my spares from then ?? (Ha-ha)... Gents, --- apparently that bloke in the picture is great Uncle "Eric" from the "Bay" family !! ( later to form a company known to all & sundry as}-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------LADBROKES !!! ..'cos selling those bikes is a sure bet !!
