There has been a slight oil leak on my 1994 BMW R100R for nine years. My 57 Goldie has a gearbox leak. My 33 BSA three wheeler sheds so much oil it makes the average super tanker accident seen positively girlie. The new addition a 1950 model G is on the ramp being fettled, so should start without any faults.
Think of oil leaks as a tom cat marking its territory.
I do “intend†fixing the goldie gearbox leak over the winter but don’t hold your breath.
