My bike has stopped four times - twice due to a short (the latest being today after the rear brake wires parted company, amp meter went into overdrive and fuse blew forcing me to glide silently into a convenient farm yard opening) and twice with a knackered coil. I have a new 930, like you, and there is nothing wrong with it
