There is a great opportunity for somebody to develop a bendix type starter for these because there is a lot of us slightly damaged people who need electric starters. The sprag idea was doomed from the start

Hi guys ----------- NORM, the sprag as an idea is fine, it's the design ( with those silly "wobbly fingers" ) that's at fault here.......Rollers on an inclined plane is the way to go..Impossible to "back-drive"..

Hi Alan,
Sprag on the Chang is a beauty it is about 5 inches in diameter and the spring loaded rollers that lock it up are half an inch in diameter
