Ok I know I've lost he plot and gone LED mad, I have just finished adding some mirror mounted superbright LED's, Bertie is now lit up like a christmas tree, if it's works here's a picture ....

on my daily bike (Yamaha tmax ,,,,,,,,sorry its a scoot!) I fitted 2 x 10 led daylight running lights below to nose cone , tis bright!

Looks nice, but the brightness of unfocussed LEDS are a menace at night to those who have certain vision defects. Every car you see these days is guilty of much the same both front and rear. Ask any optician's opinion! Good to be seen, but consideration for others is also important.

I generally agree Trevor, while I don't find LEDs a problem myself I do find that modern vehicle headlights are far too bright and do dazzle oncoming traffic, these LEDs are very small so hopefully won't be a problem to other drivers, unlike the AC powered headlight I think causes other drivers to think I am flashing them as they constantly flash me when driving in the dark, I have tried dipping the headlight as I think it is too high but there doesn't appear to be any adjustment.

Regarding the unadustable main headlamp, have you tried filing the mounting holes of the inner chrome ring? If you elongate them in a 'fore-and-aft' direction, you should be able to re-fit it with a little bit of downward tilt.

SBM, sorry can't find the number now but got them from fleabay, £1.84 a pair, but you will need to make up your own brackets, or you can buy them with brackets but where about £20 the pair, I used steels brackets from a builders merchant, the sort with holes pre-drilled.
