Please could you tell me what material the bigend bearing is made of on a 2003 Indian bullet 500. Thanks

White metal as standard. Replacement may be a roller bearing. Why?

Never taken any notice of what it is made of but obviously the centre is steel with a whitemetal coating. How do I know this, I have several here that have turned blue from the heat after all the whitemetal has vanished

It's a floating white metal bush as far as I am aware.
