Hi ... just to inform you: the circlip is out. Only a very small groove next to the circlip groove had to be made with the Dremel. When it was done, it was a simple job to get it out ... Alan R, it was a great help to see the two different kinds of circlip removal cut outs on your photos ... all the best Jacob

Hi guys--------- No probs, JTL.-----glad to have been of help.....For information the top piston is our hosts forged 8.5:1 CR whilst the lower is the cast OE one it replaced, both from my No1. bike.
