I was changing the oil on my Electra X today and changed the main oil filter - I began to doubt the order for re assembly, I assume this is the right order: large O ring, filter, large O ring, thin plate, small O ring, spring, cover, small O ring on nut? It would be helpful if the spring went on first so that it self ejected?
Also do the two narrow wire mesh tubes fit over an internal tubes in the sump? Perhaps the heat is addling my brain but was just wondering.
