AlanR I am always prepared to stand corrected (what does that mean?) but the markings are 'supposed' to be for the 2nd Wiltshire Regiment, part of 5th Division BEF at Dunkirk. The white bar above red 14 is for Corps Units. The idea is to commemorate my DR father who was in the 2nd Wilts with the BEF, evacuated from Dunkirk before he was killed driving into the side of a lorry near Devizes in 1944. If anyone knows better re markings please let me know.
Anyway besides all that it is great fun riding about, especially with assorted grandchildren, other family and friends in the sidecar. It usually makes people smile but a big bonus is when a sour face disapproves of oldies like me and my friends having "..fun at our age!".
