Well, the front axel and bearings are now fitted and not a hammer or drift was used! Just a couple of scrap bearings, a few thick washers and a couple of spanners. It was so obvious to do. Shove the axel through the hub, then add the new bearings. put a couple of thick washers over the bearings, then add the nuts at each end. Do up the nuts with the spanners! Easy eh? The bearings drag themselves in. Run out of thread on the nuts? Just add a couple of scrap bearings to act as spacers. Rinse and repeat. Job done!
