Yes I have to say that it was a great day, nice to put some more faces to familiar names. What a pleasure.
Mad Mike must have a good connection with him up upstairs as the weather was great - just as ordered!
Looking forward to the next one in early Sept - date to be confirmed Mike?

Hi all , enjoyed the day yesterday too......some very nice bikes there , I must admit the MV Agusta floated my boat!!! The diesel boys were present with tales of much travelling , but at 140 mpg distance is no object for them. Nice to put faces to names too , had a good natter on the bench with a few. The weather Gods again blessed us , you must have a direct line upstairs Mike. Keep up the good work , see you there again in the future

Hi everybody. I would like to say a great big thank you to everybody who came to MadMikes Gathering yesterday. The wonderful bikes and riders really made what is usually a good day into a fantastic day. Rarely have I seen so many smiling faces. Thank you. Oh yes the MV!!!!!! My mate Paul let me take it for a ride during the afternoon......I nearly split my face in half where my smile was so wide, and as for the sound track well the Americans are fond of saying AWESOME, well that doesn't even come near to describing the experience and the sound when you get beyond 6500rpm. I wont tell you the cost of the MV but suffice it to say........it was one hell of a lot of Her Majestys best beer vouchers. I have conveyd everybodys comments to the Organising Committee members and the Steering Commitee members who have all burnt a lot of midnight oil organising the event and giving that big yellow sun a polish for the day. Next one will be in September and I will let you all know the date (repeatedly) when I have booked my September holidays. One last thing, and I hope our hosts will not object to this, but you can all see the many photos by visiting www.ikba.co.uk Thanks again everbody and see you and I hope many others in September

Hi guys and Hi MIKE !!!!!---------- WOW !!!!!------What a great day allround..My friend Myles (the 650 BSA Lightning Street Scrambler) and I thoroughly enjoyed all the great bikes, people, atmosphere, chin wagging(lots of that !!) etc, etc.... Even the truck driver joined in with some appropriate music...BUT, I have to APOLOGISE to my dear friend DECCA who, once again, we missed meeting at The HOLLIES Cafe that morning !!! One day I'll get it right, eh ??......... From Telford we had taken the direct route of A5 then A47, but used a cross-country one to return, passing Twycross Zoo, Market Bosworth, the outskirts of Tamworth with a stop at Rugeley for a Burger King and Tea........ The last leg was vie Cannock Chase and the local cart tracks in rural Shropshire to arrive home just in time for ??------------------------ TEA !!! It's now Monday afternoon and I'm off to the local Pub Bike meet !! Oh well--------- busy, busy Bullet----------------- Tara 4 now..
