According to the technical spec, my 65 Crusader Sports has a compression ratio of 9:1. Although it is not showing any signs of burning oil, I suspect the compression is poor. I am getting a reading of about 65 psi on a compression gauge. Does anyone know whether this is normal?

I'm sure more informed types will be along soon, (probably Paul who builds a 250 racer,) but that seems low to me, I'd be expecting somewhere in the high 90s low 100s?
