Hi guys------- GWILLY that's a dark Maroon that Kawasaki do......but if that were to be re-sprayed as a gloss Black then I think it would def. be the K9's spheroids indeed !!......Almost £4K --- you could buy a genuine Brit.classic 650 twin for that !!

I can't see any logical reason why Enfield would want to go head to head with the W800 and Triumph. A small devoted band of Enfield followers isn't big enough to consider the expense. Hard market to convince you have solved reliability issues

I think they will launch a Constellation parallel twin in 2015. It will look gorgeous and go like the clappers. It will cost from £4.5k with the singles priced proportionately less by the sensible new importers. There will be standard, fully-faired and cafe-racer versions. The Bonnie and W800 will be withdrawn from sale as unable to compete.

Alan, can you bookmark this page somehow so we can pull it back up in 2015. They have been talking about the much awaited release of the cafe racer for probably 4 years now so I can't see them not talking about a twin being released within 2 years, but time will tell

Have to agree, I think they'd be barking to go for a parallel twin. 1. Any number of good, competitors, already out there including the aforementioned Kawakas and Trumpets. 2. There's bugger all romance in it , especially if its on the modern format ally fuel injected basis (which it would have to be to sell in India. 3. A V is a smoother better, configuration IMHO with dollops of sex appeal. The truth is though, and ill be next with the salt, I think there's Buckley's chance that they are going to launch a twin. RE never made one in four stroke form in India so why would they start now just as they clamp down really hard on emissions?

Alan,
I have a problem with that pic, I think it has been doctored, because at 10 cents a litre and not a car near a bowser, can't fool me

10p a litre, say about 10 shillings a gallon. I think I can remember those days. Mind you, we thought that was expensive then!
