hi guys, my 2008 electra x suffered from intermttent indicator problems, sometime they worked, sometimes they didnt, lol, the flasher relay would click then work ,then clicked and sounded like a spring pinging and wouldnt work. anyway i just replaced the flasher unit.. and nothing.. no click no sounds no indicators, tried connecting the new relay to a battery and no clicks or sounds, does this sound like just a faulty replacement flasher. many thanks for any advice. wolf.

First thing to check is that the wattage of the replacement flasher unit matches the wattage of the indicator bulbs. A mismatch will cause the whole set up to stop working.

hi winkie, theres no info on either of the flasher units mate. was i right in thinking that i should have got some sign of life by connecting the new flasher to a battery.
