Might seem silly but how do you attach handle end mirrors to the bar. I know they bolt in the end but can't get the bolt in as the throttle plastic cover under the grip covers the hole in the handle bar

Hi REDS------ no, not a silly question at all... The expanding part of the mirror unit must grip against the INSIDE of the bars themselves....therefore anything that blocks this access must be removed !!... It's exactly the same with those handlebar-end safety plugs, etc.... Just use a sharp craft knife and be neat in your workmanship..... Simples !!---------------- PS, from experience}---MIND YOUR THUMB TIP !!!!!!

Hi guys------Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that threaded hole within the bar itself...I had a devil of a game getting those bar-end weights off last year....Consider my previous remarks to be for "generic" types that fit within plain tubes then--------

On most motorcycles the handlebars are like cats` whiskers; if they fit through a narrow space without touching the sides, the rest will go through without getting stuck. These mirrors will make the bars wider and prone to knocks and making it difficult to manoeuvre in the occasional tight spot even though they fold back when hit.

many years ago, I fitted a bar ender to a Vespa scooter. What's wrong with that? Well, it turns out that a Vespa doesn't have a handlebar which continues inside the twist grip, so the bar ender just nods up and down as you accelerate/decelerate...
