My '07 Hinckley Bonneville was highly susceptible to stale petrol -- even a few weeks would cause it to run 'lumpy'. After a couple of months standing over winter I had to strip and clean the carbs before it would even start, let alone run. Bullets on the hand seem not to object too strongly to whatever's in the tank.

Hi guys--------- SUSSEXBULLET, the standard compression ratio of the Hinkley Bonny is 9.2-1 against the Bullet at 6.5-1. And with a static timing of 0.8mm before TDC, the Enfield could probably run on paraffin or the old army POOL petrol ( less than the 2-star, 80 octane ratings back in the day)..Horses for courses I suppose ??
