Mate came back from the UK a few days ago and came to our meeting Tuesday night wearing a pair of shoes with the Union Jack on them. First thing I asked him was if they came from Hitchcocks. They really got a laugh

Cmon lads lets get back to the original. Sponsorship for a worthy cause.Tie up the dates with me Paul and I am in. Someone has to keep Paul going the right way lol. Mr webmaster will hitchcocks sponsor us and give a donation facility for other forum members. I am happy to cover my own fuel etc . What Im thinking of is a run from the reindeer to lands end then up to JOG and back to the reindeer . Thats twice the run . If everyone sponsors us to get both riders through the course at a rate that equates to 5% of their annual spend on bike stuff then we will make a differance. Alan R and others the length and breadth of the uk are welcome to join us for parts or all of the trip and offers of a bed for the night would be welcome .

This Lands End to John O'Groats must be some big deal, how far is it, UK ain't that big, it fits inside Victoria in Aus and Victoria is the second smallest state in Aus, and we can ride to any point in Vic in a day without problems and that is on an Enfield.
