Bertie's swinging arm was recently removed for painting,I finished putting him back together this morning only to find a nut and washer on the floor under the bike, the only bare thread that fitted that i could find was on the inner end of the rear brake pedal shaft, it's seems a strange fit, the shaft screws into a threaded section of the frame and then has a nut and washer over the end of the shaft (nearest the chain), the brake pedal pushes over the other end of the shaft and is held on with another nut. Can anyone please confirm that this is were my rogue nut and washer has come from ? I would post a photo but I'm warm now and have no intention of going back out in the garage.

Thanks

Bertie
