Hi guys---------- Here's a couple of phots. showing No1 Bullet just rolled out of the workshop with the first Bolt-up of the solo saddle and Hitchcocks Givi pannier frames fitted... Over the next 12 to 18 months I'm aiming at an Army Despatch Riders "look" based around the Suez Canal Crisis period (Hence my recent need for totally enclosed rear shocks)---and in Desert Sand finish..Note the 7th Armoured logo on the battery cover.----------------------------------- Image ---------------------- Image

Hi guys-------- thanks for the support there... Basically, at this stage I already have all the main components to achieve the final goal ( spare tinware for re-spraying, No2 Bullet for "donor" swap parts eg Complete Drum front brakes, legs etc will be swapped for that disc system... Full ARMY steel panniers, ruck-sacks, jerry can.).. Those Givi Panniers complete with the 2 rear frame arms will be swapped over as well. Currently this No.1 bike is happy with the Mikcarb VM28 set-up but I think finally a MONOBLOCK will be more appropriate, but still breathing through the "Tea Caddy" filter uniot--- this one then being fitted No2 bike...I'll be needing a new, trials-type top yoke and headlamp brackets, much in the style that our hosts have done with the solid rear end special in the catalogue....Will keep you updated as things happen----- this Flu' bug has just about run it's course now so I'll have a go at making ( and photographing) those fully-shrouded rear shocks I mentioned earlier............
