Norm..

I don't think a few gearbox parts a pair of pistons / rebore, alternator valves rockers and clutch is too worrying.. Mr H has all this stuff..

Going to have a measure up see what's required other than new bearings and pistons etc etc..

Picking broken Bull up at the weekend so will start by stripping down to frame and offering up Meteor Crankcases / Gearbox housing to check fit etc..

Tom, just one thing to watch out for: the gearbox mainshaft for the Twins is longer than the Bullets as the engine is wider. This also means the inner primary chaincase is different. Can't remember the measurement off the top of my head but could check if you want? Just make sure your gearbox is a Twin one. There is no way of telling by the gearbox code number alone. Hi Mark.

its the selectors that are missing along with the outer cover.. I'd say it was the original box bolted on the back of the engine judging from the 30 odd years of corrosion :0).. It's been sat in my cellar for nearly 10 years!

Tom,
When you say alternator missing, this can't be a Meteor 700 they were generator/distributor setup are you talking Super Meteor? This is why missing bits for Meteors are hard to find
