The amount of times Ive tried to save money on spares by buying parts off ebay and other sources,only to find they dont fit or are unserviceable. If I had only gone strait to Mr Hitchcocks. Learn by my mistakes and save your selves a load of time and money faster postage too. regards big al

Our hosts parts do what they claim to do and as for genuine spares the cost of ...they under cut Australian spares importers on prices with 10 waiting days being the slowest , I've had small parts in 5 days .

Quite agree, and if your parts don't fit/got the wrong one Mr H will exchange/refund with no problem.
Try that with Ebay parts from india!

oh my god !!!i,ve found an indian supplier who gets my parts to me in 4 days!! but he only sells genuine R.E BITS I,M NOT GOING TO NAME THEM ,mr h offers an excellent service though and most of the time the parts are very good although sometimes quality issues can arrise same as anywhere else when the parts are manufactured in india quality is not guarranteed,as i say if i can get a genuine r.e throttle cable for £3 inc postage and can wait 4 days i will ,but if i need it tomorrow mr h,s same part will cost around £9 and be delivered next day,job done,anyway support our uk businesses our economy needs a success story atb paul

Hey Norm , it was mental yesterday at 43 degrees with a strong desert wind , fires erupting every bloody where , my Enfield does not mind the heat much and I did a pre heatwave oil change using thicker oil , the powerbox cooling problem is now being fixed with a very finned computer chip cooling heat sink with a fan and an air scoop to get the heat out of it , in hind sight it would have been better outside the tool box , the power box does strange things when hot , voltage spikes melted my indicator switch , this is where the correct fuse rating is critical .
This heatwave is a taste of things to come this summer ..no monsoon yet ..all very strange . A few summers ago I walked in my front door of my old flat roof flat that was 50 degrees and within 30 seconds I was convulsing and starting to black out , I fell in the bath and managed to turn on the shower before I truly blacked out , very scary , the human body has it's limits ..God forbid if we had an outside temp of 50 in Sydney , the old and very young die first , this is not paranoia ...the weather dudes have had to dream up new colours on the heat charts , riding in 43 can be tough as I'm not going to ride in T shirt ,flip flops and shorts ..thats crazy if you come off the bike and ...I cant bear to think about the fools that I see doing it , anyway you can burn bad and not know till you get home , I hope all is well in England , lovely chilly cool comfortable England .

Phil, We have sympathy for your climate at the moment. Over here, we're preparing for the annual Beast From The East, which starts off at -30 from Siberia and will be down to -5 by the time it reaches the UK? My Bullet never failed to start in such weather in previous winters, in fact, it usually started first kick, every time. There must come a point when it is too hot to ride, same as when too cold to ride. For both it's a case of how long you can take it? BT

Getting back to the original subject. Because of our Hosts outstanding service, I've never felt the need to go elsewhere for parts. Only once did I buy a part from India and that's because Mr H didn't have it in stock at the time. Even then, the part wasn't for my Lightning. It was for somebodies Electra X. There's nothing like getting a package the following day full of parts in the factory packaging!

barry ,answer to the last of your comments is i agree unless royal mail let our host down my bits took 4 days and cost me diesel to liberate from the sorting office making my parts cost even more just unlucky me !!atb paul.
