It sounds a really simple one but my petrol warning light stays on even when it's full. I can't find anything in the service manual. Any ideas?

Hi Matey---------- my(our) usual response for these newish bikes ie}--- Is it still in WARRANTY ?? If so pop it in to your nearest dealer---with the relevant paperwork--- and they should sort it for you.---- If it's out of warranty then it's probably as per GRUNDA12 ie a stuck sensor (normally a float working a variable resistor/rheostat)within the fuel tank....There is also a REMOTE chance that the wiring attached to the sensor has short-circuited somewhere giving a permanent reading.. To check that scenario try disconnecting the two electrical leads that are attached to the underside of the fuel tank.NOTE !!!!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>only do this WITH THE IGNITION TURNED OFF ie NO SPARKS !!!!
