Yes i seem to recall those slight undulations on my Electra's sprag the second time mine was replaced.

check around and see if the Borg Warner sprag is the same, it fitted the Electra/Classics and was much cheaper and by the sound of it it isn't too difficult to get to. Somebody has to be at the forefront of fixing problems so looks like it is up to you
