Please could someone with better communication skills than me write a short procedure for the inclusion of correctly sized photographs in posts..... only needs one oversize pic to spread a topic beyond the message board limits thus making it tedious reading.... life being too short I often have to give up trying to follow some topics even though they are of interest to me.

Hi BRYAN------------I have to apologise to one and all as my photos do seem to be the reason for that problem. I also have asked for help regarding this and would willingly change my settings---if only I knew how !!-------PLEEZ, wont't sum wun 'elp a Pooooooooor, auld pensioner getta grip!! on this ????

Not having a pop at anyone Alan, I think you know that anyway, but it was your recent plea for help that prompted my post..........I can re-size on photobucket but I've got difficulty in explaining in simple terms......I'd be happy for someone else to do it but if no one does i will have a go.

Guys - the easiest way I think is to go direct to tinypic.com - don't worry about signing up to photobucket - click on "choose file" button near the top and select the photo you want to upload from your computer. Once you have selected your photo it should say the name of it just to the right of the "choose file" button. The file type just under this should have the image button selected. You will see the "resize" option just under this, and you will need to select the "message board (640 x 480)" option from the drop down menu. Next step is to click the "upload now" green button. You will then be prompted to enter a code to proceed. Once that is done you will see a small version of your picture on the right of the page. You will also see a list of 4 options of html code to enable sharing on websites/email, etc. in the middle of the page. The 1st option " HTML for websites" is best for this forum - left click the code, which will start with

Whoops... that didn't work out as planned - I never wanted to post the picture yet!
So as I was saying you need to copy the "HTML for websites" code and paste this into your message.
