Enjoyed a visit yesterday. So much to see. Returned to the New Forest having only spent on food and drinks. But with a few ideas for next year. Paid a visit to the Royal Enfield/Watsonian Squire stand.

Hi Fido,..I was at the show on Saturday having been directed by the confusing signage to circumvent the whole establishment before parking up, however it was the first time since 1992 that I have visited the show and I was fairly impressed with it overall…….I had a chat with the staff on the RE stand and tried to get out of them the BHP of the new GT copy (my take on it not RE’s), that’s the one in your photo with the red tank and dropped bars – what a cracker….Needless to say the BHP was not forthcoming and the bike is still being developed being a 535cc but I mentioned 50BHP – still tight lipped……….It would have been nice to see some of the older Bullets there on show if only to illustrate how development has progressed or not depending on your point of view………………….By mid day the place was heaving…. A lot of interest on the BMW stand and the Triumph stand, however I passed the RE stand a number times and there seemed to be constant stream of admirers…..BR…Phil
