Can anyone suggest a way of raining my headlamp adjustment? at the moment I'm not getting the benefit of my Neolite/Motorvision combo because it is pointing too low. I think the culprit is some shocks I fitted at the back, which look fine, work fine but may be a fraction too long. I don't want to junk otherwise good shocks, nor to go to the expense of fitting a separate headlamp, but the very limited adjustment on the casquette just doesn't do it.

Hi JOHN R------- which bike do you have ?? On my No2. Classic 500 (and Bullet 65 a few years back) I extended the top screw hole of the casquette rearwards in the form of a slot....My No1. Classic 500 already has this slot cast in....This allows the reflector to be pivoted in the vertical plane....A small amount of "owner input"--( Sunday morning, before the Club Ride), and a good job done !!!

Hi guys------------- thought this might help ?? As you can see this slot was actually made as part of the casquette. ----------- Image -----

Thanks for the pic, Alan, I am investigatiiong this but I don't think it would do me much good beacause the toop of the rim is already back against the ridge on the casquette. There are two little screws on the chrome ring at about 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. it is possible to get a bit of adjustment off them, and I think I might be able to enlarge their slots to get a bit more.
One way or another, I'll have those neolite rays shinin' down the lane!
