Hi Guys Thanks for the kind remarks, the only one I don't own is the Goldie, I did that one for a friend it had been in his garden shed for 30 years, Tony here is a peek at the other side, and some progress pictures of the Goldie. Pete still not sure it is for sale, I have put some more miles on it and a bigger seat, can't stop smiling when I ride it.

Hi DENNIS,--- might I just add my appreciation along with the others ??? I'm currently suffering from Gold Star DROOOOLLL at the moment !! Now THAT'S what a 500 crank assy. should look like.......can I borrow it for my Bullet ??? LoL

Hi Alan, Yes I agree about the crank, really well made and finished, but did you know that BSA advised owners to replace the crankshaft and valves annually as a matter of course in the 500 Gold Star?.-------- I don't think many people would bother.

Paul - as someone on here showed me....to reduce the picture and see all the comment hold down 'Ctrl' and press '-' then to return to normal '+'. Cheers, Tony.
