Hi all

New to the forum having purchased a 2011 woodsman today, been hankering after one for a while finally found one today.

As there was a mention of Moto Guzzi California's , thought I'd mention I will be selling my 1989 California III nothing wrong with it at all in lovely condition just a bit boo big for my current needs.

I test rode the woodsman and within a mile knew I was going to buy it ! no doubt I will be springing up here in the near future asking for advice !

OK let's turn the screw. I think this is the best angle to see this bike.

Hi Fido. Your V7 does look very nice indeed and as an owner of a V50, I know you are going to enjoy riding it immensely. One accessory I recommend you should fit immediately though is a “fender extender” or long mud flap to keep the road muck of that lovely engine. If I owned it, I would also want to fit normal silencers (still Guzzi lookalikes) because as far as I know the Guzzi V7 has catalytic converters which just waste about 5-10% of fuel and power + the extra weight. The benefits would easily outweigh the cost of the new silencers so the quicker you change the more quickly you will get back the cost although I guess you will have to wait for the warranty to expire, unless you fit the originals back for any service required. The fuel injection lambda sensor should compensate automatically for fuel mixture changes.
