Which of the cast iron barreled indian 350cc engine parts fit the redditch 350 engines? So far i've found:- rocker covers, distributor/magneto pinion, timing cover screws, quill bolt,(some) engine studs, oil feed banjo bolts.....What else? Will cams, followers and pushrods fit?

There are two basic types of 350 Reditch Bullet engine, the pre 1956 type with the timing side cover with square oil pump housings and no auto advance bulge and the post 1956 engine that looks just like the Indian engine.
The Indian Bullet engine is based on the later engine and most parts are interchangeable until 2002 when some components changed from Imperial to metric sizes.
If you need to know if a particular item will fit whatever engine you have then look in the Hitchcock's Catalogue, it lists compatibility of the parts on sale.

Rockers and push rods are interchangeable with the pre 56 models and the bits you've already mentioned. Clutch parts too but not a great deal else. Good thing is our hosts have a pretty good inventory of pre 56 bits including barrels.

Also, the pre-1956 350 and 500 Bullets are very different from each other as well as the post 56 Indian and Redditch bikes. At least in engine terms but quite a lot of cycle parts will interchange. As usual our Hosts are the best source of advice!

One of the more gratifying compatabilities that I found was that a 1950's SR1 magneto fits straight onto a 90's 350 Indian Bullet and the advance unit fits neatly under the bulge in the timing case cover as it was originally intended to do. Looks great and starts every time usually first kick. I imagine it would be precisely the same on the 500.

Well I can also say with some authority that you can fit early1950's front forks onto an Indian bullet and whilst it took the manufacture of a rear axle you can also fit a half width rear hub onto the back.
