Hi Matey --------- a bit simplistic perhaps but I have those DOHERTY type twist grip rubbers fitted and they have a series of deep, horizontal ridges built in which are great for just resting the ball of the thumb on.....similar to my Scrambles and Grass Track days when we'd tape two lengths of Bowden Cable outers on the twistgrip..... With the diesel unit I take it the throttle will be moving the fuel rack on the injection pump ?? Hardly a great spring force there then ??..... Try Google }----motorcycle cruise control -----

In that case Paul I'd definitely go for the 'Go Cruise' devise I detailed above. It will solve the problem completely. Simply type the same two words into e.bay to find suppliers. Cheers. Tony.
