Hi all,can enyone tell me what the gear lever travel between 1st gear through neutral to second gear engaging should be,on my 350 bullet(1965)model,as it seems on my bullet there apears to be aprox one and a half inches travel between 1st and 2nd,can the travel be adjusted or is this normal for this model. Also when egaging 4th gear the gear lever at the bottom of its travel is just catching on the exhaust. All sugestions welcom.

Taper,
Travel sounds normal, it aint no racing box, and lift it one spline to make it clear the exhaust

Thanks Norm ,I think you are right about not being a racing box I tend to forget the technology of the said gearbox is some what dated, but thanks for the advice I will try moving the gear lever up a notch and also be a little more patient when changing gear.

Taper, they fitted these boxes to the Interceptor as a competitor to the first of the big Hondas, not hard to see why they failed
