Bertie I wasn't suggesting that you were gullible, merely that the salesman was selling in a way that suggests HE believes people are gullible. As for a 100 mile commute, well I and 99% of the population would choose to do that in a car, and the electric thing does not have a range to allow such a commute due to the time it takes to recharge. As I said if we are to do away with the ICE then electricity is not the way forward using current (pun intended) technology. As for 34 year battery life well that I do not believe either. The manufacturers woulg go broke if they cannot sell replacements on a regular and frequent basis. How do you think battery manufacturers stay in business? Not by selling OEM that's for sure. Incidentally whilst I am in pedant mode the American abbreviation math is an awful expression. The English maths is the correct term when abbreviating. Please do not be offended by the last remark I am having sport with you.
