Hi NORM---- Yes, I changed them for a set of "proper" rubber ones from our hosts when I fitted the progressive fork springs and disc brake. Recently a friend of mine has just bought a 65 ---we changed the fork oil for ATF but kept the Std. springs in----works just fine , so I could have saved some money !!! Ho-hum.
