Hi guys ----thanks for all that info---some good chuckle-stuff there as well !! With just these avatar names to go by it's so easy to forget this is a world-wide forum. Maybe SINCORDIA could arrange to have a small, national flag emblem next to our username just for recognitions' sake ??? ( It would be "Educational" as well.). I saw BILLY CONNOLLY with his trike on a tour of New Zealand recently and have been drooling ever since. Don't suppose you guys have need of an Ex-Marine Engineer with Steam Railway and Motorcycle fitting experiences over there ??.....Not to worry, don't suppose 'er indoors would let me anyway !!.....Can the Electra Con-Rod be fitted/made to fit---into the Classic 500 Iron Engine ?? I'm due to strip one this winter and would love to have that in the re-build. Hang-on, don't our hosts do one anyway ??........SIMON, the one bike in my fleet that Joyce doesn't like is }----- My lovely Bullet !! CHRIS TINDALL }---ouch, I just winced !!...........There's a certain Mr "LONE WOLF" with whom it's been my real pleasure to ride with from time-to-time and on more than one occasion I've had to "eat dust" as his apparently docile "Iron Engine" leaves me standing (at 60 mph). But I'll leave him to enlarge on the tech specs. if he's a mind to. Whilst a mutual friend "ROD" has just obtained an Electra X and likewise blew me away in Central Wales last week. Us Auld farts, eh ?? Royal Enfield-----Driving Licence-------Bus Pass !!!

2000 Classic 500. S&B air filter, 'Burgess' type silincer, environmental crap removed, 19 tooth gearbox sprocket, 150 main jet in Mikcarb. Just over 80mph flat out.

Alan, just a useless bit of dribble, Electra con rod is shorter than a real Bullet one.
