Thanks to Durham Tim, I received a one year old Universal Silencer on Friday and fitted it sameday.
Having recently removed the Indian "torpedo" silencer, as it's rattling like mad, and fitted a megaphone, the Universal is now in place. All is explained via these three Youtube clips.

Try this one too:

And this one as well:

At the moment, with the Universal Silencer fitted, it is going ok, but still running weak. I assume I now need to up jet.

What would you recommend?

Hello matey !! Glad to see you're still at it then ?? For jetting just follow the guide in our hosts catalogue but bear in mind they are "recommendations" only. What air filter are you using ?? Let's hope that fuel situation is well and truly over now ??

Morning,
As per Phil/PJ in Berks, I still have all the bottom end "glitches" on opening the throttle, but, once it's fully warmed up, and at all other throttle openings, goe's like a Bullet! Since fitting the Universal Silencer to the standard Indian downpipe on Friday, have covered over 500km's, it sounds great, and, as mentioned, runs a treat at high speed, never misses a beat with the throttle wide open cruising at 55/60+ mph. Plug is what I'd describe as a healthy light brown. Running slightly weak, but I cant detect any extra heat/smells down below, even in traffic, and no blueing of the downpipe, but then again, it's covered in surface rust. MPG has gone up too and still using the pricey Shell fuel. As mentioned before, Jets/Carb/Ign/Airbox are all factory standard, no mods. Think I'll keep it like this for the moment, until it goes bang at least! Check out the Youtube links. See it and hear it yourself.

Greetings, Bullet Train, from a hot and sunny Marrakesh! (Just sneaked away from "Wor Lass" to "check a few emails" at the local internet cafe!)(Nod, nod, wink, wink!!).

Delighted to see you've received the silencer ok, and you're pleased with the overall result. Loved the You Tube clips too. All that's needed now, is a tube or two of Autosol and bags of elbow grease!! Enjoy :)

Durham Tim, Good Morning. You seen any Bullets in Marrakesh!
Went for another blat yesterday and the Bullet Train is flying. Top end pulling power seems to be up a bit and mpg this weekend is now up to about 75. And your right, the shiny Universal Silencer shows up the rest of the bike. A shame that my corroded Indian downpipe looks crap. It'll keep me going for now though.
