hi craig, rear bottom bracket to the pillion footrest rear top bracket to top shocker bolt position (i have seen the part of the frame near the shocker drilled also for that bracket)
,front bottom bracket to bottom of front engine plate theres a hole waiting for that then top front bracket up the front down tube ,let me know how it go,s it sounds an interesting project ,atb paul.

Thanks grunda,

I did Think along the same lines, But doubted that the TOP Suspension Mount Could take Much Stress..
As it Seems a Multi Weld on Attachment (If Ya Know what i Mean).....
Cheers Craig

Hi Craig, I've just had a look at the back of mine (Watsonian Manx sidecar on a 2007 Classic 500... that's the old type engine) The bottom one goes into where the pillion footrest was removed from. The top one goes through an extra hole drilled in the shocker mount bracket. That mount has an extra packing piece inside it, so that the tightening of the nut and bolt don't pull the two bits of sheet metal that it's made of inwards, towards each other. Hope that makes sense.. it's basically what Paul said. This is how it has been from WS as new. No problems with that mount.... and it's 5 years old now AND... I have had the chair in the air quite a lot, with and without passengers, if that gives you some confidence in it. The only problem I've had, was the top FRONT bracket, whch did break. I got one from WS with a much heavier main bolt and TWO back bolts.. This has been fine. Regards, Chris

Velorex is a right hand fitting chair, after 01/09/1981 you can not legally ride it in the uk with a right hand sidecar fitted, no-brainer then, just think insurance.....
