The fix here is obvious, rebuild the box on the 350, dead simple and only takes a few hours, we can walk you through the process and not a lot of tools scattered across the footpath compared to pulling the motor

Norm is right again. The gearbox can be striped in frame and should be a relatively easy repair. The 350 'hots up really well too. An 1/18 389, a ported head, a set of the improved Hitchcocks cams and a nice clear exhaust and mine goes like shit off a shovel. Smoother and revyer than the 500 too I'm told.

Yup Norm you hit it again. Mothball Doris for the moment and recommision the 350. Bring her back, ride restore her thus increasing her resale when I've got Doris sorted. I got all tied up with fettling Doris and what with all that endless rain just let the 350 stand. Any tips on flushing/recommisioning the 350 appreciated. Perhaps I'll start a new thread.
