hi john ,that ride sounds just the ticket for an interesting day,i,ll be there we can discuss that at the agm meeting,i think there will be possibly the usual 4 in attendance for this run,could we combine it into another camping weekend as the the guys who came on the cumbrian jobby are clammering for more atb paul.

If you can make it to North Wales I'll see if any of the troops from fair Salopia and district will accompany me up to The Ponderosa and mix-it with the Mountain Men. ( Just HOW DO you stall a diesel going downhill anyway??).......As mentioned previously I also had a "bit of a journey" by riding my latest purchase from Chichester, Hants. back to Telford, Shrops. having taken my textile jacket and heavy clothing, only to be faced with possibly the 2 HOTTEST days this year !! (Frazzle City---or what ??). My Bullet is back in full commission now.

alan have you seen the hill or more to the point the road,the hard knot pass is outstandingly awesum if not very dangerous ,after changinging gear from second to first while shitting my pants the bugger stalled ,as the diesel doesn,t have a tick over a rev in between changes are required but at that altitude,what can i say .....go and try it for yourself alan i,ve Never rode a road the width of a standard footpath round a mountain HAPPY DAYS PAUL
