Phil, really sorry you feel like giving up. I tried an EFI about 3 years ago, somewhere near Wantage. Only allowed to run the engine as it was Xmas time very foggy and icy, but it sounded great and looked so like my old machine.
I then had a 2007 535 Bullet that I felt lacked that little extra power. Anyway, 3 years later the all black and gold lined B% arrived and included kick start. worth waiting for. Sold the old Bullet to another Swiss and had my EFI delivered. Kick start is a pleasure, no decompress to worry about or ammeter and she starts first kick 95% of the time. Electric start is fine and after 5 months and 2,600km its just about run in. A bit puzzled how you have such a low milage after one year.
Off in a couple of weeks to get the dealer to sort to some of the engine rattles, I hope.
