Just a follow-up to my previous post ("duff coil or condenser?"). Seems it was the condenser. Did 40 miles on the new one today and it didn't miss a beat. Still curious why the previous new one only lasted 150 miles though. Perhaps it was simply a dud - or is there something else going on that could cause premature condenser failure, other than excessive heat or vibration? (Crossing my fingers that I haven't spoke too soon!).
