Hi guys & gals (Cath & Val + "Friends" ??)---------- Have any of you got / know of }--- a spare barrel & piston for a Classic 500 "iron" engine for sale OR swap ??? I have a Goldie silencer (with baffle) PLUS a LONG front pipe with short, open silencer. Thanks for any help--------- Alan R. ps--those items are available separately if you want them. Will be on E-bay soon.

I've got an iron barrel. It's only done 1500 miles. I swopped it out for an alloy one when I rebuilt the engine after a main bearing failure. However, I did manage to brake a fin at the bottom when I took it off.

Have you still got the broken-off fin ?? I have a good cast-iron welder on my books. Over to you------------

I'm in North Devon. You can pick it up and have it for nothing. It's of no use to me. I've still got the broken piece of fin as well.
