Kick my bot-kin and call me Santa----------In my previous posting I meant to say }------"Hi guys & gals" but old fartybags( my brain) didn't clik-in. My apologies to Val and Cath. Are there any more lady Bullet riders out there ? If so do please take part.

Hi Alan, can't recall anything breaking and falling off my crossbred Bullet and it has 45,000ks on it now. Only things that have broken are pistons, big ends and bearings.Admittedly I pulled the tailight and blinkers off early cause they looked daft, and then I got rid of the stupid Electra guards, sidecovers, tank, forks and anything else that remined me that it was an Electra in another life. Only thing I can't get rid of is the fact that it is still called an Electra on the registration

just went out and counted there are 6 yes 6 cable ties holding on my side panels! Lost one going down to M8. Retreaved it the next day on the way to work it had lost its lock. Keep meaning to get another one.

Off my ariels/redditch enfields I have lost (in the past year):

Numerous nuts and bolts
The complete top of the battery carrier including the top of the battey box
multitude of pannier fixings
dynamo end cap
The complete bolt (i.e. 5" bolt and both nuts) that holds the top of the (preunit) gearbox.

silicon sealant and nylocs are my current favourite things

I've lost the bottom of my number plate after my clumsy owner backed me down a ditch on a small country lane, also nearly lost a rear indicator after the bracket snapped, and lastly half a rear spoke disappeared after being over loaded with camping gear, wish my owner would get lost and leave me alone !!!

Hey Alan R,no offense taken.Have been mistook for bloke all winter due to my wet weather gear.Hopefully now as summer seems to have arrived that will be thing of past as is time to air my draggin jeans.Am just off to check Stan over as am feeling rather smug as nought seems to have dropped off him yet.Did have a very loose front wheel nut but luckily spotted that in time otherwise might have been rather nasty.Cath
